Dub Partners is the modern affiliate platform in this set. Flexible rewards, dual-sided incentives, partner-to-partner rewards, branded program pages, an embedded referral dashboard, bounties, and partner discovery. The payout product is theirs: global payouts, tax forms, and invoices, with the volume to prove it. Teams move to Dub from Rewardful, PartnerStack, and FirstPromoter because they want that whole system.
Parten does not compete with the network, the page builder, or the bounty product. It competes with the sentence "we will pay partners from Dub."
Dub's payout is a Dub payout. The customer's subscription still lives in your Stripe account. Someone reconciles Dub's commission report to Stripe's invoices, then to Dub's payout. That is a reasonable trade when the partner program is large enough to want discovery, tax handling, and a portal that is not your billing provider.
Parten skips the second system.
The commission is computed from the Stripe invoice, net of tax. The payout is a Connect transfer: your connected account is debited, and the partner's Express account is paid the same amount. A refund reverses that transfer. There is no Parten fee on the commission. Stripe's transfer pricing still applies.
You give up a lot to get that. No partner marketplace. No AI landing page for the program. No embedded dashboard inside your app on day one. Partners onboard in Stripe, not in a Parten portal.
Use Dub when the program is a growth channel you want to staff: recruiting partners, paying them globally, and giving them a destination that is not a raw link. Use Parten when you want an affiliate marketing platform that pays from the Stripe account that collected the sale.
